A Chinese famille rose trumpet form vase, Late Qianlong period (1711-99), the splayed foot, rising to a slender tapered body terminating at a trumpet rim, enamelled in rockwork issuing peony, chrysanthemum below a ruyi border, height 61cm, S/D. Provenance - Purchased lot 460, Sotheby's, Hill House, Gloucestershire, 24th October, 1990, for £850.

Condition report
Hairline crack to the rim, approx. 10cm in length extending vertically to the rim. Minor wear and loss to the enamel and gilt throughout. Visible fritting throughout. Scuffing and wear to footrim.
