A 19th century or earlier pressed brass Bishops mitre badge or mount, mounted with a cross above two panels of bosses bordered by beadwork decoration, comes with paperwork suggesting that these were placed on coffins in tombs during burial, height 7cm. Provenance - The Clive Sherwood collection Lydiate Ash House, Bromsgrove.
