A late 18th Century or earlier hammered oval copper panel, the face of a lucky Green Man, height 12cm, and a small matching pendant, height 4.5cm, designed to be nailed to the front door to bring luck or to be worn. (2) Provenance - Reputedly from a hoard found in Stratford Upon Avon during the 1970s from the site of the open air market, thirty of these pieces were found as part of a merchant's hoard. From the Clive Sherwood collection, Lydiate Ash House, Bromsgrove.
