A French medieval carved stone head of a crowned male with bulging eyes and holed mouth, possibly 12th /13th century, height 17cm. NB - The carving was probably part of water spout or drinking fountain and would have once had a small pipe extending from the mouth.

Light losses to one side but generally in very good condition. Please make your own assumptions to the age of the carving before bidding.
