A Chinese blue and white moonflask, the flattenned circular body rising from a splayed rectangular foot to a waisted neck flanked by a pair of ruyi handles, moulded in low releif to the front and rear panel with a peach shaped panel, the whole decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with bats hovering above fruiting boughs within foliate scroll work borders with similar decoration to the neck and side panels, all picked out and highlighted in white and graduated pink enamel, bears spurious under glaze blue and white Qianlong seal mark to the base, height 25 cm.
