A Chinese Republic Period (1912-1944) porcelain figure of an official, dressed in formal robes, holding sceptre and scroll in each hand, with all over, yellow, green and red enamels, impressed marks to base, height 39cm, on matched wooden base.

Condition report
There is a rattle to the interior of the figure, indicating there may be some internal damage. Open hole to the back of the figure, indicating the back section of the ruyi is missing. Overall loss to gilt and enamel indicative of age. A few firing cracks to the edge of the footrim.
