A Japanese wakizashi sword, the 14.5 inch blade extending to an earlier Meiji period (1868-1912) bronze tsuba with gilt zoomorphic designs, the fuchi with floral designs, the handle with remnants of shagreen skin, (lacking scabbard). <p> Subject to CITES regulations. Due to the shagreen content, this lot will require a re-export permit if shipped outside the mainland UK.
