Lot 659: Estimate £300-£400
A Chinese fan painting, in the manner of Xun Huisheng, the folded fan painted in ink and watercolour washes, depicting houses before mountainous landscapes with trees, one line of script and seal mark to the upper section, framed and glazed, size of fan 18cm x 51.5cm, in frame 43.5cm x 72cm.
Condition report
The folds have darkened over time, foxing spots visible throughout, previous restoration as there are small holes from insect infestation, it appears that the fan has been laid on another piece of paper.
Please note the fan has not been removed from the frame and therefore the back has not been inspected.
