Clarice Cliff - Gay Day - A Conical early morning breakfast or bachelor set circa 1929, comprising teapot, sugar bowl, early shape milk jug, tea cup with matched saucer and side plate, all hand painted with stylised flowers and foliage with black, yellow and brown banding, hand painted GAY DAY and Bizarre mark, S/D.

Teapot - The teapot has some damage and losses to the inside rim, not visible when the cover is in place Sugar - small nibble to the edge milk jug - chip and hair line to the edge of the rim Cup - All OK and free from damage, some minor crazing Saucer - This is matched as the banding is incorrect for Gay Day but more likely Trees & House, all in good order Side plate - There is a chip running to a hairline
