A small group of 19th Century papier mache cases and boxes to include two spectacle cases with inlaid abalone shell detail, each of oval form with a hinged top, length 15cm and 18cm, together with a silver inlaid snuff box with a floral cartouche on a trellis patterned ground, width 7.5cm, a mother of pearl and pewter inlaid snuff box, width 6.5cm, a pewter line inlaid box, width 9cm, and a Victorian black lacquered glove box, hand painted with a bird on a flowering bough, height 9cm and width 30cm, S/D. (6)

Condition report
Scuffs and losses to the lacquer of the glove box and there is no key. Small spectacles case - there is a small dent to the border of tip of the case and some loss of abalone shell to the hinged cover. There is some cracking around the hinged cover. Larger spectacles case - Some cracking to the hinged cover. Some minor dents to the tip section of the case. Silver inlaid snuff box is generally good, although there is a very small chip to the underside of the lid adjacent to the hinge. The snap catch to the lid is good. Catch is good on the mother of pearl and pewter box. Some dents to the underside of the pewter line inlaid box.
