Lot 672: Sold for £600 hammer

Estimate £400-£600

A 19th Century Chinese Sang-de-boeuf flambe vase, of bottle form, rising from a high footring, the exterior rich red variegated glaze, with lavender and magenta glazed streaks to the interior, height 29cm, S/D.

Condition report
General chipping to the underglazed footrim. Slight reduction to the upper rim, it appears this may have been previously ground down, possibly to smooth out a previous chip. Overally general glaze crazing.
