A Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) bronze figure group of an elephants being viciously attacked by two tigers, signed to underside, with a later carved wooden stand.
Condition report
Overall good condition and patination indicative with age. No major holes, splits or repairs.
It is possible that the tusks have been re-stuck as there is slight glue residue visible to the edges.
When shaken there is a noticeable noise to the interior, indicating that the figure is possibly weighted to the interior and therefore degrading to the inside. this has no affect to the appearance.
