A 19th Century turret style weight driven wall clock by Stringer Stourbridge dated 1864, 10cm brass dial on anchor escapement and black painted pillar frame with chain mechanism, large cast iron pendulum length 186cm, S/D
NB - Reputedly removed by the previous owner from J H Stringer furniture store that became Owen & Owen in Stourbridge, dismantled and re-fitted locally within the borough.
Condition report
Was seen working at the vendor's property, but has since been dismantled and so is sold 'as seen'. The pendulum bob appears to be slightly bent. The box of parts included with the lot includes the winding handle, a pair of clock hands, chain, cogs etc.
Length of pendulum is 174cm
height of movement 39cm
