Lot 1154: Sold for £520 hammer

A 19th Century cast iron two seat garden bench in the fern and blackberry pattern, probably Coalbrookdale, with later slatted wooden seat, height 86cm, width 111cm and depth 56cm. Provenance - Acquired during the 1980s from The Rock House, Tettenhall, Wolverhampton, when the house became a training centre.

Condition report
There is no apparent foundry stamp. The panels look to be in a sound order overall, but the painted finish is flaking in places. The slats are later as mentioned
