Condition report
Appears to be an early 20th Century example. There are no splits or breaks, but there are some light scratches to the top. There are also some small scuffs towards the edges of the painted panel. Some ink stains to the velvet lined writing surface. There is a key. The gilt metal mounts are in good condition.
