An Enoch Wood pearlware theatrical figure, circa 1830, modelled as the comedian John Liston in the role of Sam Swipes from Exchange No Robbery, he stood with his arms in his pockets, the square base on which he stands painted with 'No! am I a Gentleman- Upon your Soul tho' Mother', height 15.5cm, S/D, together with a 19th Century Staffordshire model of a lady stood beside a flowering tree, height 15cm. (2)

Condition report
He has an old break to the front left leg and possible repainting to this jack and the pedestal at the back. There are several very small firing blemishes / slither losses to the left side of the pedestal. She has nibble losses, grinds to the arms and chipping to the reverse.
