A set of four post war Danish teak Model 16 dining chairs, designed by Johannes Andersen, upholstered in brown hopsack style cloth, together with an extending dining table of rounded rectangular form, raised to tapered legs, height 75cm, width 89cm and length 134cm when closed and 234cm fully extended, S/D. (5)

Condition report
Chairs - fading, scuffs and scratches to the frames in places commensurate with age and use. There is a split and a glued repair to the front capital of one of the chair backs. The upholstery is faded in places is is worn along the front edge of three of the chairs. The chairs in this lot are offered for sale as works of art. They may not comply with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) Safety Regulations 1988 and for this reason should not be used in a private dwelling. Table - fading, scuffs and scratches and some ring marks to the table top, commensurate with age and use - would benefit from a re-polish.
