Chris Berry (1932-2014) - A mid 20th Century walnut cabinet, fitted with an arrangement of five drawers to the side of a tambour shutter door, height 90cm, width 88.5cm and depth 35cm, S/D. NB - Chris Berry qualified in Art and Design at Loughborough in 1952. This cabinet was designed and made by Chris as part of his assessment for his finals. It was then sent down to the Royal College of Art in London for further assessment. After National Service he went to work designing furniture. He won awards for some of his designs in the early 1960s from the Design Centre.

Condition report
Some splitting to the top and also some ring marks. Two of the drawer knobs are broken. The tambour door operates well.
