A Japanese Satsuma Meiji Period (1868-1912) lidded tea caddy, of square section raised on scroll supports, enamelled with fan shaped panels filled with phoenix, chrysanthemum and lotus, surmounted by a gilt metal domed cover, 11cm x 10cm.

Light loss and wear to the gilt and enamel throughout.
