A 20th Century cross-banded walnut veneered and gilt metal mounted cylinder writing bureau in the French taste, with painted foliate urn detail to the cylinder front and sides, fitted with an arrangement of six satin-lined drawers in and around the pull-out writing surface, raised to cabriole legs, height 99cm, width 72cm and depth 48cm.
Condition report
Generally appears to be in a good condition. There is as key in the cylinder but the lock does not operate (the cylinder does open and close though).
