An early 20th Century Indian brass bound mahogany deed box of casket form, complete with key, the lock plate stamped E.S & Sons Madras, complete with ebonised hardwood stand with reeded legs united by an H-form stretcher, overall height 97cm, width 61cm and depth 46cm, S/D.
Condition report
The box itself locks in to the stand, but does lift off and can be used independantly. The dimensions of the box are height 27cm, width 51cm and depth 37cm.
There is a chip out of the rear right hand corner of the stand. The box itself is OK.
