Applique Idyll - A large Clarice Cliff shallow dish form wall plaque circa 1932 hand painted with a Crinoline Lady to a garden setting within red and black banding, printed APPLIQUE and Bizarre mark, width 34 cm. Condition - No chips, cracks or restoration. This plaque is one of twelve originally produced for the boardroom of Threlfalls Brewery. The reverse is painted in black enamel 'THE PROPERTY OF THRELFALLS BREWERY'.
