Two 19th Century American infantry swords; the first with a wire-bound leather grip and a pierced brass whiplash style hilt, the blade stamped U.S. A.D.K. 1864 to one side and 'made by Ames Mfg Co. Chicopee, Mass' to the other, blade length 90cm, complete with steel scabbard; the second sword with a leather grip and pierced brass hilt, the blade stamped W. Clauberg, Solingen and also stamped 72 to the hilt, blade length 90cm, complete with steel scabbard, S/D. (2)
