LOUISE CLEARE (1948 - 1973) Oil on canvas, first man on the moon, unsigned, 91 cm x 92 cm Nancie Louise Cleare was born in Oxford in 1948 and after attending school at Our Lad's convent Abingdon and St Martin's School, Solihull. This lot is sold with the catalogue of her works which the above is listed as Number 43. She exhibited at the Midland open under 25 art exhibition and was a personal friend of David Hockney In April 1973 she suddenly tragically died of meningitis
