An 18th Century First Period Worcester trinket box from the atelier of James Giles, the cover exterior decorated with a handpainted scene of a fancy bird with gilt rococo border, to the interior a similar gilt bird, the whole body and cover edge with blue scale pattern, the interior containing five heart shaped trinket boxes and covers each with similar fancy bird decoration, painted fret mark to each base, diameter 14cm (one interior heart restored), ILLUSTRATED
