Sidney Harold Meteyard RBSA - A portrait miniature on ivory of a young girl in profile with hair pleated and wrapped around her crown, dressed in white robes before fruiting bushes and a classical arch all to a landscape setting, circa 1922, 6.5cm x 5.25cm. ILLUSTRATED Provenance - The sitter is Norah Elaine Eadie, sister of Kate M. Eadie, wife of Meteyard. The reverse is annotated in pen 'Me in 1922' together with 'To Colin from Norah Elaine Eadie'. This miniature was gifted to the vendor direct from Eadie in the mid 1970's.
