A large 19th Century Meissen punch bowl and cover of spherical form with applied acanthus leaf handles raised to a dish form circular stand. The whole hand painted with oval cartouche panels depicting characters in 18th Century dress to interior settings gambling, eating and drinking all within gilded borders over a mottled blue ground with hand painted floral sprays, crossed swords mark, height 28 cm.
