A hand addressed and signed letter from Lady Diana Spencer dated 2nd July 1981 and addressed 'Dear Children', complete with original franked Buckingham Palace envelope, letter of original correspondence and a signed letter from Oliver Everett MVO (confirmed in the London Gazette as being the Private Secretary from 29th July 1981 onwards) The letter relates to artwork undertaken by the handicapped students of The Mount School in Halesowen, West Midlands. The pictures were painted to mark the occasion of the impending Royal Wedding, hence 'Dear Children'.
