A 19th Century cut glass, gilt metal and shell inkwell, the C scroll cast and pierced gilt metal stand supported by three mother of pearl shells and centred by a circular facet cut well with gilt metal domed cover, S/D Notes: Lot 1158 - from Sothebys Chatsworth Attic Sale on 5th October 2010, label still present to base of inkwell.
