An early 20th Century Maori jade Hei Tiki or Tiki, circa 1920, the large dark green pounamu or greenstone neck ornament carved in the form of a squat figure or embryo, head facing to the right, the eyes highlighted with abalone or 'aua' and both hands placed on the knees, pendant holes to the reverse of the head, length 10cm, weight 118.4g.
