ALEXANDRE FALGUIERE (1831-1900) - Diana, a bronze portrait head and shoulders bust of a woman, signed A Falguiere, Thiebaut Freres Foundeurs, Paris stamp, with brown patina on waisted plinth base, height 61cm. Provenance: Purchased by Arnold Haskell 23rd February 1963 from Mallet at Bourdon House Ltd, London. Exhibited: 'Arnold Haskell Collection of Sculptures and related Drawings' City Art Gallery, Bristol in 1963, Sculpture -exhibit no. 41.
