A small Chinese Ming dynasty (1368-1644) gilt bronze figure of Buddha meditating in the dhyanasana pose, hands clasped in anjali mudra gesture, loose robes draped over both shoulders before gently falling to loose folds beneath the feet, open chest above the antaravasaka tied at the waist, meditative face beneath tightly curled hair and jewel topped ushnisha, character mark cast to the underside, height 12cm, later drill hole to the reverse
