N.B Originally designed in 1972, this table and chairs is understood to have been purchased from Heals', Tottenham Court Road, London in 1976. A hand-annotated Heals' business card referring to a table and 10 chairs, dated 28/04/76 with the price of £1558.05, accompanies this lot.
The chairs in this lot are offered for sale as works of art. They may not comply with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) Safety Regulations 1988 and for this reason should not be used in a private dwelling.

Condition report
Neither the table nor the chairs are stamped or labelled. The table would benefit from a re-polish and the chairs would benefit from being re-upholstered. Chairs - the frames all appear to be structurally sound. there are some scuffs and scratches in places. There are several small holes / cigarette burn marks to the upholstery on the chairs and also some small splits. One of the chairs has been re-upholstered in a plainer similar brown fabric. Table - there is a 6cm scratch to the top of the central insert leaf. There is a smaller scratch towards the edge of one of the end sections. Also some fine scratch lines across the top and some scuffing along the edge of the end of the table. As mentioned would benefit from a polish.
