A pair of late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) Chinese 'Eight Trigrams' (Pa Kua) brass Gu vases, the flared beaker vases cast with central line motifs symbolising sky, earth, thunder, wind, water, fire, mountain and lake, Xuande (1426-35) six character mark to base, height 26.5cm. (2)

Condition report
Free from breaks and repairs. One shows slight warping to the upper rim. Overall wear and patination indicative of age.
