A Chinese famille rose 'Lotus' bowl, Tongzhi (1862-74) seal mark, the heavily potted foot bowl with lobed flowerhead form bowl, the exterior painted with Peerless Hereos, before a turquoise enamelled ground, height 7cm, diameter 15cm.
Condition report
Large restored chip to the rim, approx. 5cm x 4cm in size, this area has been repainted.
Minor loss and repainting to the gilt.
minor wear to the enamel throughout.
Discolouration and wear to the interior of the bowl.
