An early 19th Century Chinese textile, possible elements from a throne cushion, the floral bordered panels, further embroidered with roundels filled with figures, cicada and lotus flowers, later laid on a later silk panel, embroidered panels, 36cm x 101cm, entire panel 206cm x 116cm.
Condition report
Extensive wear to the entire panels, with holes throughout.
Embroidered panels, show wear, loss and small holes.
Colours appear muted.
