A 19th Century Chinese Canton famille rose punch bowl of circular form, rising from a low footring, the interior and exterior sides profusely decorated with fan shaped panels filled with figural, butterflies and foliate designs, heightened in gilt throughout, height 13.5cm, diameter 32cm.
Condition report
- several shallow glaze chips to the rim.
- 'Fingernail' chip to the rim, approx. 1cm x 1cm in size.
- Minor loss and wear to the enamel and gilt throughout.
