A collection of 19th Century Chinese Canton famille rose teawares, to include a teapot, four saucers, two teacups and a milk jug, all similarly decorated with veranda figural scenes and foliate designs, picked out in gilt throughout. (8)
Condition report
- Teapot - Firing cracks to underside of base and spout.
- Both teacups - have chips to the upper rim of each.
- Jug has several old repairs to the handle.
- Two of the saucers have hairline cracks.
- All items show wear and loss to the enamel and gilt.
