A Chinese famille rose bowl, late Qing (1644-1912)/Republic Period (1912-49), of shallow rounded form, rising from a low footring, the exterior sides painted with four lines of inscription or poetry and swathes of bamboo, height 7.5cm, diameter 19.5cm.

Condition report
- shallow 'fingernail' chip to the interior upper rim, approx. 1cm in size. - Hairline crack extending vertically from the rim, approx. 3/4cm in size. - Minor wear to the enamel throughout.
