A 19th Century and later mahogany snap top supper table, with acanthus and shell carved detail to the cartouche border, all over an acanthus carved pedestal and tripod base with paw feet, later alterations and repairs, height 72cm and diameter 79cm, S/D.
Condition report
Some scuffs and scratches, minor dents and ring marks to the top. There is a small section of moulding that is missing from the border of the top. The top may be a marriage to the base - the lock and lock plate have been re-affixed with a wooden cheek fitted below to ensure the fit. The feet have been re-tipped.
