Gillian Hamilton - A two tier cake stand constructed from slumped and fused glass with a powdered white border over pale blue ground with chrome plated fittings, labelled to base, height 25 cm. Gillian Hamilton works from her Glasgow studio with partner Sean Taylor. Gillian specialises in kiln forming and Sean in flameworking and the industirous pair run the studio, teach classes and also their flameworking supplies business Gillian is currently Exhibitions Officer for the Scottish Glass Society and has been busy setting up Trove, the Society's 32nd annual exhibition at Perth Museum and Art Gallery until 31st Dec 2011.
